Featured in Fine Home Building, the project was the renovation of a Victorian two-flat in the DePaul area of Chicago. Designed for two scientists with a collection of Gustav Stickley furniture and classic rock and roll records, the design draws inspiration from the Stickley pieces of the collection. All woodwork is natural cherry with birds-eye maple inlays. In concert with the natural maple floors with cherry borders, the woodwork acts as a backdrop to the collection and to the subtle colors of the public spaces.
